In 2019 we developed a project which looked at the increasing frequency of extreme weather events, local and global flood risks through the ancient myth of the flood which exists in almost all cultures.

Working in collaboration with global anti-drowning campaign Teach a Girl to Swim, Mulberry School for Girls, the Bangladeshi community in Shadwell and Riverside School in Barking Riverside, the project was developed to accompany the Olivier Award winning production of Noye’s Fludde that we co-produced for ENO and Theatre Royal Stratford East.

We presented the project at the first London Climate Action Week (LCAW)

I think its really important to engage young people in the decisions about their future, and in the search for solutions to make sure that they have a future. Communicating through the language of singing, and using myth is so powerful and meaningful
